It actually felt like spring this afternoon. It's the best feeling when you don't have to search for your gloves, scarf and hat in the morning...and can forget the socks. Hopefully, this weather sticks. Mentally, I am preparing to transform my closet from winter to spring, from black to color, and from wool to sleeveless. Hello Spring!!
I'm not planning to buy a lot of things this season but here are 3 tees that will carry me through.
James Perse. I own a ton of these tees in probably every iteration. You can wash these babies tll the cows come home. They always keep shape and don't pill. My favorite are the short sleeve v-necks. Wear it under a blazer, wear it with leggings, or wear it with denim. It's the ultimate staple. Low cut enough to be sexy but not enough to show your wares. ($44).
J Crew. I am not a big Crew fan. But I do think they make inventive tees at good price points. This one is perfectly versatile: wear to work and then transition into happy hour. The ruffles make it uber feminine and trend right ($39.50).
Anthropologie. Another great destination for spring tees. I am loving this shade of pink...not too ballerina and not too cotton candy. It looks great on all skin types. Perfect with shorts, a mini, or plain old black pants. Great top to have in your closet for a shot of color or if you are suffering from dunlap disease one fine morning ($58)
